Super nice people! Excellent customer service. Great food suggestions. Amazing sides and menu. The sandwich was incredible!
Love the food, they do a really good job with the flavours. I love that they have a Greek Village salad and not just the typical romain Greek salad. The only thing I'd suggest about the Village salad is some fresh oregano leaves on it, bigger chunks of feta instead of crumble and the option to add anchovies. I have a Greek friend from my NYC restaurant kitchen days who used to make it like that for our after shift meal and the fresh oregano really adds a next level, almost warm flavor. And I know most people don't like anchovies, (weirdos ) but I'm telling you, the salty/briny anchovies, the fresh oregano with the EVOO on top of the large juicy chunks of cucumber, tomato, kalamata olives, feta and the bite of the red onions, is just where it's at. "It" being the VIP section at Club Taste Sensation in the heart of downtown Flavourville, population your mouth. Anyways, I've had the gyros and the bowls and some other items and have been very happy with all of them. The Rosemary Tzatziki is "chef's kiss" delicious. The guys that work at Rebel seem pretty chill. Not an eat in place but still a good vibe while you're waiting and they also have random cool and interesting greek products to buy. Been there a few times now and great experience everytime. Be there or be an equilateral quadrangle, and no matter what Huey Lewis says, that ain't hip. (Sorry I didn't take pics, but this place is for your taste buds anyway)
It’s not my first time eating here. But it was so good that I had to leave another review. Great salad, I mean fresh veggies, perfectly chopped, good and fresh dressing, big portions, chicken gyro omg... basically all the things you want in a salad. Rebel Greek has perfect options for lunch and dinners. Honestly, these guys are the best, their frequent clients know this. Food is always on point. Staff is sooo niceyou always feel welcomed. Best in town for me.
Drove from Orangeville on the account of the wonderful reviews. We're very happy we did. We got chicken souvkaki meals. The chicken was tender, the rice was tasty and the potatoes had lovely lemon notes. I really loved the warm pita and fresh greek saIad. Portions are generous, so you will be satisfied. I was also impressed with how clean it was, but most of all, I was very delighted to be received with such warmth and friendliness. Hospitality goes a long way especially in the food industry which is a very competitive space. Many thanks for a delicious meal! This will be our regular spot, totally worth the drive. I drove by Rebel Greek Restaurant after my doctor's appointment and decided to give it a try. I'm very happy I stopped by! The restaurant is clean and bright, with a setup that is more geared towards takeout. They do have a high table with two chairs inside for a quick bite. The owner, Harry, was very friendly and allowed my girlfriend and me to try some of their homemade tzatziki sauces. I ordered a large gyro, and my girlfriend chose the chicken souvlaki dinner with double rice and a side of potato. The food was delicious and fresh. You can tell that the owner puts a lot of care into the dishes they prepare. The rise was not too wet compared to some other Greek restaurants. And they were gluten-free, perfect for my girlfriend. The portions are generous as well. I will definitely come again whenever I am in town. Keep up the good work.
WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE, how incredible the food is. The Danforth has NOTHING on Rebel Greek. Everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection, ingredients are high quality and well prepared. It was my first time here yesterday and I couldn’t wait to come back again today I was dreaming about how good it was. The guy who made our food was awesome, he had us sample all their different tzatziki’s, a lot of awesome flavours. The meat is amazing, they are not shy on seasoning and flavour, this is the way Greek food should be, bold fresh exciting flavours! The PORTIONS are heavy duty, you will not be disappointed for the value of your dollar here, they are very generous. We had the gyros wrap and the loaded Greek fries both times, I will try to order something else next time but honestly these are so good. The fries are FRESH, hot and crispy and the way that feta and dressing all melt together is heaven. Sandwiches are perfectly built, massive, overflowing with flavour and MEAT. The food is so fresh and high quality this is food worth eating. So well done, I will be a lifetime regular!! Thank you Rebel for your amazing food and service!!
The best Greek place we’ve tried! So happy they’re in Bradford. I absolutely love the chicken gyros - quality and taste is amazing. Have also ordered “The Family” shareable for a larger group and everyone loved it. The portions are great and everything is fresh. The spicy tzatziki is also a 10 out of 10! Staff is so friendly and always willing to assist with suggestions. Never disappointed with Rebel Greek!
